Pricing and Payments
Quotes and Estimates
Any quotes or estimates provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on project scope changes or additional requirements identified during the project.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Unless otherwise agreed:
- Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt
- We reserve the right to pause work on accounts with overdue payments
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the service agreement
Taxes
Prices quoted on this website and in our proposals are exclusive of BTW (Dutch VAT) and any other applicable taxes.
TiaTech is registered for BTW in the Netherlands under VAT identification number NL004363587B83. Applicable taxes are added to invoices at the rate in force at the time of invoicing. The treatment depends on where you are established and whether you are a business: EU business customers who supply a valid VAT identification number may be invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure, in which case you account for the VAT in your own country.
You are responsible for paying any taxes associated with your purchase of services.
Project Delivery
Timelines
Project timelines are estimates based on the information available at the time of planning. Actual delivery times may vary due to:
- Scope changes or new requirements
- Delays in client feedback or approvals
- Technical challenges discovered during development
- Third-party dependencies
We will communicate promptly about any anticipated delays and work with you to adjust timelines as needed.
Acceptance
Unless otherwise specified in the service agreement, deliverables are considered accepted if you do not provide written feedback within 14 days of delivery.
Intellectual Property Rights
Client Materials
You retain ownership of any materials, content, or intellectual property you provide to us for use in projects ("Client Materials"). You grant us a license to use Client Materials solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Deliverables
Ownership of project deliverables is specified in individual service agreements. Generally:
- Custom code developed specifically for your project becomes your property upon full payment
- We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses
Portfolio Rights
Unless otherwise agreed, we reserve the right to reference completed projects in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials, subject to any confidentiality provisions in your service agreement.
Confidentiality
We treat information shared with us during the course of business as confidential. However, the following are not considered confidential:
- Information that is publicly available
- Information you authorize us to disclose
- Information we are required to disclose by law
- General knowledge and experience gained during the engagement
For projects requiring strict confidentiality, we recommend executing a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Limitation of Liability
Warranty Disclaimer
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
